The Adult Literacy Program (brought to you by the Cumberland Adult Reading Council) offers free tutoring to adults who need help in basic reading, writing and math skills. 

Founded in 2005, tutoring and small group sessions are available free of charge to the students.

Customers of Volunteer Energy Cooperative participate in the VECustomers Share program. Customer bills are rounded up to the next highest dollar and the excess amount is placed into the VECustomers Share fund to support projects that benefit communities in the Volunteer Energy Cooperative service area.
